Vs 36 He prayed alone – yonder
Vs 37 He made disciples; He taught His disciples
Vs 38 He was sincere with them. He stated and explained how
difficult the task at hand was and how sorrowful it made Him.
Vs 39-40 When He was alone He went to God and talked to Him.
He alone can help Him.
God had a plan for Jesus Christ.
Jesus knew the plan but it was not a pleasant one.
Only God could help Him and comfort Him
God helped Jesus Christ as He Prayed
Vs 41 He encouraged His disciples to watch and pray
Vs 41 He told them that the spirit is willing but the flesh
is weak
Vs 42, 44 He Prayed again and again.
Vs 45 When He prayed, God did not change His plan. God
strengthened Jesus Christ to do His Will.
Vs 45 When the Battle Had been settled in Prayer, He then
asked them to sleep.
Vs 45 -47 He knew what was to happen
Vs 47-49 He was betrayed by Judas with a kiss into the hand
of sinners.
Be careful. Watch and Pray that you fall not into diverse
temptations. Be careful about those who are close to you. Be careful about
those who say ‘I love you’, and those who claim to love you very much. Be
careful with those who kiss you and want to kiss you so that they do not betray
you into the hand of sinners. Trust in God. Believe in our Lord Jesus Christ
and He will keep you from falling and He will save you and He will give you
everlasting life.
