WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN THINGS DO NOT GO YOUR WAY?

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN THINGS DO NOT GO YOUR WAY?

WELL DO NOT PLAY GOD BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT.

STOP LIVING IN A FOOL’S PARADISE BECAUSE IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME AND IT WILL COME CRUMBLING.

THOSE WHO PUT THEIR TRUST IN GOD SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH.

IN LIFE, THERE ARE TIMES WHEN YOU WILL NOT HAVE YOUR WAY.  WHAT DO YOU DO?

YOU HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO HANDLE IT.

1)      LAW OF ALTERNATIVES
WHEN YOU HAVE OPTIONS, YOU CAN ACTIVATE PLAN B.

2)      PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE
-          GIVE IT TIME
-          OCCUPY TILL I COME.
-          TIME HEALS ALL WOUNDS
-          WITH  TIME WHEN YOU LOOK AT THESE THINGS IN PESPECTIVE, YOU WILL SEE THEM DIFFERENTLY.
-          TRUST GOD AND LOOK UP TO HIM.
-          HE WILL GIVE YOU SOMETHING BETTER THAN WHATEVER YOU THINK YOU MISSED OR LOST.
3)      LEARN TO SEEK WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING.
4)      STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELF APPROVED A WORKMAN WHO MAKETH NOT ASHAMED, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH

WHEN YOU HAVE THE NATURE OF GOD  WHICH YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE IN CHRIST JESUS, YOU SHALL LIVE A VICTOREOUS LIFE DAILY.

-          IN THE WORLD YOU HAVE TRIBULATION, BE OF GOOD CHEER FOR YOU HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.
-          FOR GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU, THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD
-          PRAY TO GOD AND READ THE BIBLE AND LET THE SPIRIT OF GOD MINISTER GRACE AND PEACE UNTO YOU THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.
-          BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND IN THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT. PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND THE WEARY DARTS OF THE EVIL ONE.
-          ABIDE IN ME AND I IN YOU AND ASK ANYTHING AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN UNTO YOU.
-          KEEP CLOSE TO GOD AND HE SHALL DRAW NEAR TO YOU.
-          LET THESE BE IN YOU AND YOU SHALL NOT LACK ANY GOOD THING.
-          WHEN YOUR WAYS PLEASE THE LORD, HE SHALL MAKE EVEN YOUR ENEMIES TO BE AT PEACE WITH YOU.
-          RENEW YOUR MIND WITH THE WORD OF GOD.
-          WHEN WE BELIEVE IN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, WE OVERCOME.
-          THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH.
-          THE BATTLE GROUND IS THE MIND.
-          WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?

-          WHAT OCCUPIES YOUR MIND?

MY ASSESSMENT ON WHAT I HAVE LEARNT SO FAR

I learnt that educated guess is an information that will help you to start an analysis.
TWO WAYS OF MAKING A GUESS ARE:
    1) Guess a flat voltage profile
    2) Based on system information.
INSTANTENEOUS VALUE: It is a value at a given instance.
GRID: It is a network of inter connection of transmission from effective transmission.
LONG LINE: It is a line that is longer 240km, and the example of a long line is a line from Enugu to Sokito.
TYPES OF SYSTEM LOAD FLOW ARE:
    1) Newton Raphson Iterative: It is the method that is based on taylor series expansion of a power system, ignoring second derivative and higher derivative.
    2) Gauss Seidel Iterative : Is based on taylor series expansion of power system expression with error analysis to correct and improve the guessed voltage values, ignoring second derivative and higher derivative.
    TYPES OF FAULT ARE:
    1) Balanced fault
    2) Unbalanced fault.
    TYPES OF STABILITY STUDIES ARE:
    1) Transient
    2) Dynamic
    3) Steady state.

The power system is either single phase or three phase. The phase is as a result of how the alternating current (AC) is produced. AC is produced from synchronous machine ie Generator. Electromagnetic force (EMF) is induced in the three windings placed symmetrically round the periphery of the stator of the synchronous machine, this induction takes place simultaneously but differentially depending on the level of flux linkage on various windings. This flux linkage depends on the magnitude and direction of the produced flux in the winding and arm reaction of the synchronous generator. These three induced voltages or EMF are then seperated from each other by a 120 electrical degrees, which is then identified as the three phases of the electrical power system.

A bus is a connection point in a power system, it can also be reffered to as a bus bar.
Grid system also can be reffered to as an infinite bus, which is a network of interconnected systems for effective transmission.

    A power system can be correctly represented as;
    1. Generation.
    2. Transmission/Substransmission.
    3. Distribution.
    4. Load.

I believe Jesus Christ is Lord, who came and died to save us from sin and bring us everlasting life.
    Thank you.

EEE 554 Quiz: What I've learnt so far

    - Fault Analysis: is a study of the power system after a fault has occurred, in order to determine the voltage and current distribution subsequently..
    - There are two main kinds of faults namely;
    1) Balanced Fault - one which affects the whole parts of the system and
    2) Unbalanced fault - one which doesn't affect the whole part of the system.
Balanced faults are analysed using single phase equivalent circuit in the power system. Unbalanced fault are analysed using symmetrical components.
    - Symmetrical Components are a set of balanced Phasors which can be used to represent or resolve am unbalanced system of n related phasors into n systems of balanced phasors
There are 3 major types of symmetrical components namely:
    1) Positive Sequence component
    2) Negative sequence component
    3) Zero sequence component.

    - Stability Studies: Is simply the study to check if a power system will retain synchronism after perturbation or a disturbance..
    - There are 3 types of Stability Studies namely;
    1) Transient Stability Study: This deals with the ability of the power system to retain synchronism after major disturbances such as Transmission system fault, switching operations.
    2) Steady State Stability Study: Deals with the ability of the power system to retain synchronism after a small and gradual change (disturbance) in the system.
    3) Dynamic Stability Study: Deals with the ability of the power system to retain synchronism after continuous small disturbances in the system i.e when the system is undergoing small gradual changes.
In all stability studies, the objective is to determine whether or not the rotors of the machine being perturbed returns to constant speed of operation.
    - Load flow analysis: is simply the study of the power system with the view of knowing the voltages at the various buses.
    There are two main types:
    1) Newton Raphson iterative method
    2) Gauss seidel iterative method
