THE CHRISTIAN
The Life Of A Christian
Now you are a Christian
The Christian Life
Living as a Christian
You now have to please God
For the Christian Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour
You are a Christian as soon as you accept sincerely that
Jesus Christ died to set you free that
you will not pay for all your mistakes again.
You are a Christian if you believe that Jesus Christ Has paid the price
of your sins. You are a Christian If you invite Jesus Christ into your heart
today to be your Lord and Saviour.
When you believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. He gives you the
Holy Spirit. This is the comforter. The Holy Spirit is a Person that dwells in
all Christians. The Holy Spirit will explain all things to you. When you
believe in our Lord Jesus Christ He will give you Power to become a Child of
God. He will give you Power to do good. He will give you Power to please God He
will give you Power to say NO to sin and YES to righteousness and holiness.
This Power of God is from God and is of
God. When you are a Christian God gives you His nature. God gives you the Power
to overcome sin. God gives you the Power to overcome temptation. Temptation will come. Trials and tribulations
will come; however there is good news for you. You will overcome. You will win.
You will be victorious. He that is in
you is greater than He that is in the world. The Bible says Fear not for I am
with you always. God wants you to be strong and of good courage. Put on the
whole armour of God. When you have the Holy spirit in you, you will bear the
fruits of the Spirit.
God is good and His steadfast Love endureth forever. Believe
in God and believe also in our Lord Jesus Christ.
As a Christian, you still have basic needs in life.
You still have to interact with people daily.
You still have to solve basic social and societal problems.
The fundamental difference is that your focus shifts from
yourself to God.
You do things to please God not yourself.
You take instructions from God.
Your reasons and reasoning and objectives and methods
change.
The rules of engagement change.
The weapons of your warfare change.
Your definition of success changes.
You are not moved by the things you see but by the word of
God.
You now live to please God.
You allow God to satisfy you.
You allow Jesus Christ to control you.
You allow Jesus Christ to set the agenda.
You allow Jesus Christ to take the decisions.
You allow Jesus Christ to determine the priorities.
You allow Jesus Christ determine what is important, more
important and most important.
You allow Jesus Christ to determine what is expedient.
You allow Jesus Christ to determine what is necessary.
You now live to please God. You now allow God to satisfy
you. You now accept God’s will for you.
It takes a great deal of walk with God to understand that
God loves us very much and wants only the best for us and wants to transform us
into His image and into the image of His son Jesus Christ.
Some things will not Change
The sun will still rise and shine
The rain will still fall and water the soil
The river will still flow into the ocean
These are all made by God to be like that. They remain the
same.
When you become a Christian;
Your citizenship is changed by God.
You become a citizen of heaven.
Not just an ordinary
citizen, an ambassador of God here on earth. You become God’s own
representative on earth. Taking instructions from God through our Lord Jesus
Christ and obeying Him and reporting back to Him.
You become a soldier of the cross. As a soldier, you do not
entangle yourself with the affairs of this world. Your desire is to please God
whom you serve always.
Do not worry about how these changes will come about. With
God all things are possible.
It must be noted that all these changes are carried out in
you by God with your permission through Jesus Christ our Lord with the
indwelling Holy Spirit which he has promised all those who believe in our Lord
Jesus Christ.
In addition to these changes,
Your loyalty is also changed.
Your objectives are changed.
Your desires are changed.
Your mission is changed.
Your perception will
change.
Your master will change.
Your destination will change.
All these changes will be for the best. All these changes
will be for your own good. For all things work for good, for all those who love
God who are call by His name. Therefore let all those who nameth the name of
the Lord depart from iniquity.
Your friends will be the friends of God.
Your enemies will be the enemies of God.
Your ways will be the ways of God.
Your views will be the views of God.
How would this be you might say. On the last days He shall
pour out His spirit on all flesh. He shall put His words in their hearts and
minds that they may know Him. God is good.
Your desires will be godly.
Mk9: 35 If any desire to be first
And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them,
if any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of
all.
Heb11:16 they desire a better country
But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly :
wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God : for He hath prepared for
them a city.
1 Peter 2:2 as Babes desire sincere milk of word
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that
ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
1Peter 3:3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward
adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold or of putting on of apparel.
But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is
note corruptible even the ornament of a meek, and quiet spirit which is in the
sight of God of great price.
Be ye sincere in your Christianity.
Mt23:28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men,
but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
Please be sincere in your Christianity and be steadfast.
Heb6: 4-8 For it is impossible for those who were once
enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of
the Holy Ghost and have , and have tasted the good word of God, and the Power
of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto
repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put
Him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft
upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed,
receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth briers is rejected, and is
nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
On the other hand, if for any reason you make mistake, repent
and go back to God and ask for forgiveness. He will receive you, forgive you
and empower you unto righteousness so that you will not fall again or sin again
or make mistake again through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1John1:7-9 But if we walk in the light, as He is the light,
we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His son
cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves,
and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
The Spirit Of God Empowers You Unto Righteousness
1Peter3:12 The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His
ears are open unto their prayers: But
the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
1Peter 3:1-end
2 Thes 1:1-end
2 Thes 3:1-end
2Thes 3:6,14 – Keep away from people who behave badly. Show
good example of good behavior. Behave well always.
Vs 15 Yet count Him not as an enemy
Vs 13 be not weary in well doing
2Thes 3:Vs6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourself from every brother that walketh
disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. For yourselves
know how ye ought to follow us : for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among
you;
2Thes Vs 13 But ye brethren, be not weary in well doing
2Thes Vs 14 – 15 And if any man obey not our word by this
epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he be ashamed. Yet
count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
2Thes Vs 16 Now the Lord of peace Himself give you peace
always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
1Peter 3:16 Having a good conscience; that whereas they

your good conversation in Christ.
